PostSubject: Walter C. Dornez   Sun Sep 11, 2011 4:50 pm

Name: Walter C. Dornez
Age: 69
Gender: Male
Race: Vampire (Artificial)
Appearance:

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

Walter has a late 30's appearance upon being de-aged.

Personality: Walter has the traits for a model English butler, he is polite, dilligent, dutiful, and intelligent with a dry, ironic sense of humor and a merciless disposition toward the enemies of his master. He appears to have mellowed out a great deal externally, cutting apart his enemies with a cold precision rather then the glee of his younger self, and delivering only ironic and dignified insults. He has matured greatly since his youth, however, upon being turned into a vampire, Walter employs the traits for his "Shinigami" side. This side of him is that of a lone soldier, one without loyalty to any master. He acts alone and has a superiority complex to all others. He is willing to take all course of action including betrayal. Walter refuses to be powerless/useless and he reasons that the problem is that he's mortal and subject to aging. A merciless and uncanny foe, Walter wants to clean up the world's filth.

Powers and Abilities: During the initial Millennium assault on Hellsing, he dispatched a large force of ghouls with inoculate ease and confidently engaged an artificial vampire. He also appears to be very physically durable, as can be seen when he engages the Captain in The Dawn. Specifically, he was able to withstand multiple punches from the Captain. As such, it is possibly that Walter had some artificial physical enhancement as a human; a single punch from the Captain would kill any normal human easily. His speed and agility are of particular note, and even in his old age he was able to dodge bullets from assault rifles. In his youth, Walter displayed great acrobatic skill and even as a senior citizen he still can perform exceptional feats of balance and coordination. He has displayed abilities as a vampire that he has not displayed as a human, such as stopping high falls using his wires, forming mesh shields to block bullets, and controlling others like a puppet using his wires.

Walter's abilities have been restored to their fullest extent and extended byeond that limit upon being converted to a vampire. In this form, his wires are massively extended to reach above skyscrapers and cover a wide radius. Using his abilities when he was a kid and as an old man, his abilities are:

Destructive Range: City block level+. Walter's wires are long enough to wrap around several skyscraper-level buildings and cut them in half with no difficulty and there was no wear on the wires' part.
Attack Range: Several dozens of meters to several hundred meters
Strength: 10+ tons. Walter has superhuman strength, a standard for vampires and can easily rip through and apart human bodies. He can also support his wires using his strength to cut apart large buildings casually without any sign of physical strain on Walter's part.
Speed: Hypersonic+. Walter is extremely fast, even for a human. Now as a vampire, he can keep up and move at equal speeds with Alucard at his strongest form. He's fast enough to catch assassins trained in swordsmanship moving at supersonic speeds and is capable of constantly beating Alucard down before he can react and even the vampire King can barely keep up with Walter's sheer speed.
Reflexes: Hypersonic+. Since he was able to blitz bullets fired from several assasult rifles as an old human while in a rather narrow corridor and there was no obstacle in the way, Walter's reaction is good enough to allow him to easily react to a supersonic swordswoman and Alucard.
Durability: Building level+. Walter is highly durable; as a human kid, Walter was able to take on multiple punches from the Captain and now as a vampire, can withstand bodily harm much better. He can at least take solid punches from a vampire king that can easily rip through humans and vampires.
Stamina: Superhuman. Now rejunevated, Walter's stamina exceeds the amount he had in his youth and he can also fight back self-harming situations.
Regeneration: Walter has an accelerated healing factor as per the vampire standard. He can easily heal conventional bullet wounds, attacks that would normally incapicitate vampires, limbs, and some organs so long as these wounds are caused by typical human weaponry.
Immortality: De-aged by 30 years, Walter is ageless and has a potentially eternal lifespan. He's also invulnerable to non-silver/blessed bullets even if they shoot him in the heart.
Immunity to Sunlight: Walter can freely walk in and out during the day and won't lose power or be killed if exposed to daylight. He's also immune to things like holy crosses, garlic, and holy water.

Weapons and Equipment:

Walters primary weapons are a set of fingerless gloves with very long microfilament razor wires, which he controls as if they where extensions of his own body. The wires are sharp enough to slice through steel and concrete with no trouble though he can use them to bind and restrain targets without damaging them. When turned into an artificial vampire by Millennium, all of his abilities where restored to their full extent and he has access to more abilities with his wires. These wires can reach 150 meters and can cover an entire city block. They're hypersonic speed and near indestructible.

History:
Born in 1930, Walter was shipped to the Hellsing family to serve as their butler. As the prime servant to Arthur Hellsing, Walter excelled in his duties as a butler there which is no easy feat considering that it's a family dedicated to supernatural hunting. Curious in going into combat, Walter had trained himself to have speed and reflexes at the peak of the human level as well as excelling in acrobatics that his balance, coordination, aim, and body control that it was compatible with his speed. He trained himself in the use of microfilament wires at age 10 which he learned to utilize properly within a short amount of time. From then on, Walter would be the prime agent (except for the Hellsing family's ultimate weapon: Alucard) of Hellsing in battling ghouls and vampires. He earned the nickname as the "Angel of Death", a title that Arthur Hellsing and Alucard recognized.

At age 14, in year 1944, Walter was sent on his first real foreign mission to Warsaw, Poland. In World War 2, a Nazi group known as "Millennium" was issued by the Fuhrer to manufacture an army of vampires for use in combat. The head scientist known as the Doctor would create these artificial vampires and the leader of the group known today as the "Major" would command them. They would impose a grave threat despite the fact that they could only create ghouls at that time. Walter was sent with Alucard to decimate the project and kill everyone. In Warsaw, Walter encountered a werewolf known as "The Captain." This werewolf of a century old is one of the last of his kind. Although Walter was able to hold his own against the Captain for a considerable amount of time, he would have died had it not been the help of Alucard.

At this time, Walter developed a superiority complex for he felt inferior to Alucard and thought that everyone else looked down on him when being compared to him. His desire to defeat Alucard consumed him and he accepted the Major's offer to join them. He helped Millennium escape as well as create false deaths, making it look as if they completed their mission. In truth, Millennium moved to South America where they will create an army of 1000 vampires.

As time passed, Walter remained as Hellsing's butler as well as their 'Trashman", being the main worker who would hunt down vampires and other supernatural creatures. His skills grew tremendously and in his late 30s, his nickname was changed to "Shinigami" or the "God of Death." He believed that in his prime and youth, he could take on Alucard. But before he can confirm this, Arthur Hellsing locked him away and kept him out of reach for 20 years. Although that would make Walter Hellsing's strongest and main hitman, he was disappointed. As time passed, Arthur died and his daughter Integra was appointed the head. Walter casually manipulated the situation so that Arthur's jealous brother Richard would kill Integra to take the throne. Integra released Alucard and he killed Richard and his agents. Now back from rest, Walter retired from front line duty at age 60 and Alucard replaced him.

In year 1999, just ten years after Alucard's "resurrection", Walter serves as Integra's butler. As a 69-year old man, he would help Integra and guide Alucard throughout many of his missions. He is also Hellsing's weapons manufacturer as he created the Casull and the Jackal for Alucard as well as the Harkonnen and later the Harkonnen II for Seras Victoria, an amateur vampire and Alucard's fledgling.. He developed a strategy in dealing with the sudden attack on the Hellsing mansion by the Valentine Brothers (artifical vampires from Millennium) and took out a squad of armored ghouls wielding assault rifles with great ease, proving that he still has the caapbility to live up to his title as the Angel of Death. With Seras,he was able to decimate the ghoul army and corner one of the Valentine Brothers.

He was present during Millennium's declaration of war on England. He quickly killed a dozen artificial vampires with his wires without taking a single step that threatened Integra's life. After that, he was driving Integra to the Hellsing mansion but had to leave Integra by herself when he encountered an old 55-year enemy - the Captain. His power was proven to be even more useless when they first fought due to having aged. However, this was the moment Walter was waiting for, as both of them quickly entered Millennium's base where the Major and Doctor was in. After a completed and successful operation in which Walter is fully converted to a vampire without flaw, his transformation is level with the "Werewolf" vampires. However as a vampire, he's vulnerable to silver and blessed weaponry.
